I am lucky enough to have my home based quite close to many craft breweries. As I get more info the craft beer scene it is nice to take a tour of some of these breweries. What’s great about Two Roads for people from from say NYC is that they can hop a train right from Grand Central to Two Roads and take a free brewery shuttle bus (drunk bus) the mile or so to the brewery. Just make sure you give them a call and let them know you are coming as the bus doesn’t just hang at the train station all day waiting for people.
You can go to the brewery and hang out and try samples and grab pints or growler fills of any of Two Roads beers that are currently in production. (I think there’s some things you can only get at the brewery too!) And you can also take a tour (for 5 bucks) of the brewery and find out the history of the building and how Two Roads came to be. It’s a pretty big facility for being a pretty baby company (Opened end of 2012). They make many styles of beers from a Pils, session IPA, IPA, Double IPA, Saison, Hefeweizen, and coffee stout as the beers available all year round, then they do specials and seasonals. For more info check out their website.
They have the food trucks outside which are important to nosh at so you can continue enjoying your day at the brewery without getting out of hand. Their tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable and the facility is beautiful.
They even have a room you can rent for parties!
